The clinical practice work, education, and research conducted by our department members encompass basic and clinical sciences including etiology, histopatology, microbiology, clinical diagnosis and treatment methods of pulp and periapical diseases and the factors affecting the prognosis. Endodontic procedures involve vital pulp therapies, root canal treatment, surgical or non-surgical root canal retreatment, management of dental traumatic injuries, regenerative endodontic treatments and bleaching previously endodontically treated teeth.
Especially in the last 20-25 years, advanced technologies, specialized techniques and widespread use of dental operation microscopes allow endodontists to obtain more information about root canal system and perform endodontic procedures quickly and efficiently.
