Nephrology

Our nephrology clinic serves for the ones who have acute and chronic kidney problems, glomerulonephritis, polycystic kidney disease or other rare inherited kidney diseases and hypertension especially hard-to-treat ones. We provide all inpatient treatment options like hemodialysis (with separated stations for Hbs Ag (+) and HCV (+) patients), peritoneal dialysis, continuous renal replacement treatments (CRRT), plasmapheresis, hemoperfusion modalities and intensive care nephrology for our patients.

We have outpatient hemodialysis units and outpatient peritoneal dialysis unit. These units are available for patients who are under care of other departments or are on vacation. Our units are operated by experienced physical and nursing staff. Members of academic staff visit our patients regularly. All dialysis units serve for 7 days of a week for 24 hours. Our hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis unit is restructured by modern facilities using advanced technological devices. We do not use reuse systems in our dialysis units.    

In transplantation unit, we provide sophisticated transplantation preparation for both living and deceased kidney donors. We serve as a team of nephrology, general surgery, radiology, pathology, immunology with an excellent tissue typing laboratory. Patients of all around the world are embraced here, with specialized liaisons available to support patients and families with translation services. Every detail, from language and nutrition to each treatment plan, is oriented from a patient-centered approach, and each patient, once transplanted here, is followed for life by our team of experts.
