HAEMANGIOMA FROM ALL OVER THE COUNTRY
The web site made for Masal Bebek fromKıbrıs was the first online portal which
our treatment was announced by the families to each other. The experiences
of our many patients’ parents were shared in the internet at social groups and
facebook. The writings at these portal were very effective amoung people. De-
spite the various advices of physicians, many of the families admitted to our Ad-
ana and Ankara Departments just because of these informations they got from
the parents of our previous patients. We had patients from other countries also.
We have later learned that some of the patients from İstanbul came together to
Ankara with the same vehicle, this was a very interesting experience!
Haemangioma experience showed us that it was very important to do something
very good. I have not experienced something like that in my oncology experi-
ence which was lasted about 30 years.
There was hyperemia in her face at birth. After one
month, there were red swellings in lower part of her face.
There was bleeding from the lips. Pediatricians and der-
matologists had seen her.
In the early period of treatment, the response was good.
The healed wounds led to small shrinkages in her lips.
